A short history of Atlas Armor, The Best Armor Hurricane Screens Installers in Delray Beach, FL

Atlas Armor, Inc. was incorporated in 2012 by Ken Zubay (a 30-year IBM design/developer), as a manufacturer of hurricane protection. Lance was then recruited as the first employee of Atlas Armor because of his 31-year extensive customer service & operational skills. Our company’s foundation has been built on design and customer service.

In 2013, the Atlas Armor hurricane screen was tested by Miami-Dade and received the approval certification – Notice of Acceptance (NOA). Since receiving the NOA, Atlas Armor has built and installed thousands of hurricane screens, all around Florida, Bermuda, Cabo Mexico, and throughout the Caribbean islands through our dealer network.

The NOA testing certified our screens based upon limited lab-testing, but our REAL-WORLD testing (since 2013), PROVED THAT OUR SCREENS WERE TRUE HURRICANE PROTECTION PRODUCTS.  During the last 10 years, our screen system HAS NEVER COME OUT OF IT’S SIDE TRACKS. We have always protected our openings. We are the only hurricane fabric company that can make that claim.

Over the years, we refined, received several US issued patents, Trademarked and Copyrighted elements of our system. Our Atlas Armor system is unique from any other hurricane protection system currently being made. Our design criteria focused on providing absolute hurricane protection. To do that we built our system to be extremely rugged, we only use materials that will perform well and last years in a saltwater environment, stand up to extreme Cat-5 hurricane forces, and at the same time to add 24/7, every-day value and function when not protecting your home against a hurricane. In effect, we built a push-button COMFORT SCREEN. With a push of a button, you can protect yourself from insects, wind, rain, sun’s heat, provide privacy and if required, protect your home against hurricanes.
